Though there are many methods for curing this disease, but not all the patients can be cured permanently. Some patients may be infected again by this stubborn disease. Here are the factors

1. Pathogen are not clearly defined

There are a large number of pathogens can cause chronic prostatitis, such as escherichia coli, pseudomonas aeruginosa, neisseria gonorrhoeae. Nonbacterial prostatitis is also a kind of prostatitis. Therefore, it is significant to find the type of prostatitis. If patients don’t know which type of prostatitis they are infected, the blindly use of medications can lead to the recurring chronic prostatitis.

Prostate congestion is the important pathogenic factor of prostatitis. Prostate congestion is familiar to men, sexually active, interrupted sexual intercourse can all bring about abnormal congestion. Riding a bike or a horse, sitting for too long are factors to lead to repeated injury in perineum. While alcoholism, greasy food and bad habits are prone to cause excess heat in the body. This heat which store in the reproductive organs congest the prostate, and then lead to prostatitis.

3. Chronic prostatitis caused by urine stimulus

There are a variety of chemical substances in the urine. When patients with partial neuroendocrine disorders, the urethral pressure will be high, the opening part of the prostate tube gets injury, irritating chemicals like uric acid reflow to the prostate, then induces chronic prostatitis.

4. Chronic prostatitis caused by immune and allergic factors

Studies have shown that chronic prostatitis relates to the autoimmune factors. Some experts had found a number of ''anti-prostate antibody "  in patients with arthritis. Their bodies always produce antibodies against prostate due to congenital or acquired immune deficiency, thus causes damage to the prostate tissue.

 5. Chronic prostatitis caused by anxiety, depression, fear

50% of patients with chronic non-bacterial prostatitis also suffer from mental diseases like anxiety, depression and fear. Moreover, patients with pain and neurasthenia have the tendency of aggravating their discomfort and pain. As a result, the condition they fancy often more serious than it is. This case is called "tension-type prostatitis". Further more, psychological factors is related to the age. Young suffers are more likely to be effected by the negative psychology.

Now, patients with chronic prostatitis are not willing to treat it by taking antibiotics due to its weakness like drug resistance and tolerance, and liver and kidney damages. Therefore, herbal medicine has become more and more popular on curing chronic prostatitis since it has no side effects. Herbal medicine Diuretic and Anti-inflammatory Pill has successfully cured many sufferers with this disease. The herbs on the pill can clear away heat and toxins to kill the bacteria and viruses, promote the circulation of blood and qi to release the pain and dispel the inflammation, induce diuresis and relive stranguria to solve the urinary disorders.
